Welcome to Lowkey Rich Behavior! Glad you’re here.

This blog exists because the “that was good girl” moment don’t wait for me to be camera-ready or business savvy.

I used to write everything down, every thought, every idea God dropped on my spirit — planning to record it later. Turn it into a YouTube video, a polished message, a perfectly timed teaching moment. But life would always step in between the idea and the execution.

Real talk? Recording sounds simple until real life happens.

Now I’ve got to wait until my hair is done, lashes filled, makeup right. Then I start questioning the script — is it too long, too short, am I saying it the right way, am I ready yet?

And while I’m preparing for “perfect timing,” the moment the message was meant for passes somebody else by.

So instead of letting ideas sit in drafts, notebooks, and mental archives, I decided to build a space where they can live immediately. Not later. Not perfectly curated. Not overly polished. Just real, timely, honest thoughts…shared when they arrive.

This is where thoughts land before they overthink themselves out of existence.

I’m here to write through what I’m learning out loud — because sometimes the message you need to hear won’t wait for your schedule to align.

This blog is a collection of conversational pieces that drop in the middle of life — while I’m busy, thinking, observing, processing, and growing. Topics will range from money, mindset, confidence, lifestyle, faith, and the real conversations we all have with ourselves when nobody is watching.

The name is a nod to Insecure. Because if we’re being real, a lot of us aren’t broke or behind. We’re just insecure — about taking up space, about wanting more, about enjoying the life we built without somebody side-eyeing us for it.

That’s why every post here is named after an Insecure episode title — or, when needed, a title we make up in the spirit of episodes Issa never gave us. (Because she left us hanging. We really needed a Season 5 and 6.)

And was the show a little raunchy? IYKYK. But underneath all that was something deeply resonant: a Black woman navigating life, identity, friendships, love, success, and self-worth while figuring out how to become herself without apology.

That part? That’s the part I’m leaning into. Same energy. Just a little more covered up.

Because this space isn’t about perfection. It’s about perspective.

It’s about confidence being built in real time. About managing your money and your mindset. About choosing peace over performance. About growing without shrinking yourself to make other people comfortable. About healing from the scarcity I grew up in, and learning to manage life from a place of faith instead of fear.

And it’s about this simple but powerful truth:

You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect to share what could help somebody else right now.

So welcome to the blog.

If you’re somewhere between survival and expansion, between fear and faith, between what you grew up seeing and what God is showing you is possible — you’re in the right place.

Pull up a seat. Stay a while.

Drink your water. Manage your money. Mind your business.
